One of the standout features in PoE 2’s HUD overhaul is the clearer tracking of skill cooldowns and active effects, which are now easier to see and manage:

Cooldown Wheel Icons: Skills now feature visual cooldown timers directly on the hotbar, showing exact time left before you can recast.

Buff/Debuff Bar Customization: Choose where you want your status effects to POE currency appear—above your health globe, near your character, or in a dedicated row at the top of the screen.

Aura and Effect Duration Tracking: Especially important for support players or group content, aura durations, flask effects, and debuffs now display with precise countdowns and improved visuals.

3. Enhanced Combat Feedback and Readouts
Combat feedback is vital in an action RPG where milliseconds count. PoE 2 improves on this with more dynamic and readable combat readouts:
