Help !!! Controller lights up purple but won’t connect !

Hello y'all II recently bought my besavior U5 and the problem im having is that I manage to get enough power to my U5 and the controller lights up purple perfectly but whenever I go ahead and press the ps button to turn it on and get that wired connection trough the U5 dongle it just doesn’t turn on, I spam the ps button but nothing happens I managed to get it working once but I accidentally unplugged it and since that im unsuccessful at getting that wired connection trough the U5 dongle. Any help would be appreciated it.

Notes : I was using a dual edge controller when I got it to work at the time.

1: check the ps4 joypad if is original version
2:  check all cable must be good quality data cable, not power cable
