Guys, does anyone actually wear techwear skirts? I'm not talking about photo shoots or festivals, but specifically for the city - from morning to night, on business, at meetings, on your routes. I recently saw a TechwearSkirts skirt in a showroom - black, with some kind of belt on the side and a strange diagonal zipper. Visually - "wow". But I'm wondering how comfortable it will be in real life? For example, in the subway, when it's crowded, or if you sit on the steps somewhere on the street. Or when it's raining. Will it get wet or ride up like regular light skirts? Plus, I wonder how universal they are. I want it to be not just "stylish and fashionable", but for it to really fit into an active city day.

I've had a skirt from techwear skirts in rotation for the third month now — the model is called Vector Fold. When I first saw it, I also thought that it was just a beautiful high-tech thing for aesthetes and fashionistas. But then I tried it on. And you know, the feeling was like from a good sports jacket — it seems unusual, but at the same time you immediately feel that it is comfortable. It does not restrict, does not wrinkle, and feels ... not like a skirt in the usual sense, but like a functional part of the image, like a working element. The fabric is super dense, but lightweight synthetic, similar to ripstop, only softer. It is windproof and really repels water. I got caught in a downpour — yes, my legs were wet, but the skirt itself held up well, dried quickly, and most importantly, did not cling to the body like a rag. It keeps its shape, even if you sit in it on the bus, stand in the subway or jump in puddles. I even rode a bike in it (in regular sneakers and a hoodie), and I didn't feel like I was wearing the "wrong" clothes. There's a lining inside, apparently even with a mesh, so the skirt doesn't stick to your legs. There are pockets - and not fake ones, as they like to do, but real ones: deep, with a zipper, with an internal divider system. Keys, phone, lipstick - everything fits and doesn't dangle. There's also a secret clip for attaching a keychain or card.

I would never have thought that a city skirt could be so technologically advanced that it could withstand rain, crowds and a bike. A very interesting approach, even from the point of view of clothing design - when style does not go against practice, but in unison with it. I thought, maybe I should recommend it to my sister, she complains that she can’t find something stylish and comfortable at the same time.
