It looks like it might be a power issue. I didn’t connect the extra power output from P5Mate to the PS5 Pro (which had worked with the regular PS5) but instead plugged it into the outlet via a power adapter (iPhone), and voilà, I haven’t had any more interruptions. At least not for the moment…

The interruptions occur at irregular intervals. I can't quite explain what exactly causes them. Sometimes, I can play for an hour without any interruptions, and then they start happening every 30 seconds.

By the way, Bluetooth is turned off.

As I said, the situation is unsatisfactory. I didn’t have this problem on my PS5. I think the Beloader team needs to do something about this.

Update:
I played The First Descendant for over 1hour without any disconnects, then ever 10-30 seconds. I quit the game and no disconnects anymore. Then I played for several minutes without any disconnects, then again quit the game and disconnets are gone.

I've been running numerous tests over the past four days and have come to the conclusion that the P5mate definitely needs an update. The controller disconnections are so frustrating and unpredictable that it makes absolutely no sense to keep using it as it is. I've switched back to Remote Play for now.

Until there's an official statement from Beloader and a patch to resolve this issue, I won't be recommending the P5Mate to anyone.
