Thumbstick and learning?

I just got my Besavior and I'm learning some of the features for it, in particular Learning.

I attempted to teach Besavior that I want it to perform the following actions on PS5:

Set to P1:

Left thumbstick to the right, held.
Press O.
Hold R2 down.
Left thumbstick up.
Press L1.
Press R1.
Press O.

It does not seem to recognize thumbstick controls. Is this accurate? Is there a way I can mimic the actions otherwise? Could this be added in a future update?
