then Lan mode worked fine now

maybe the usb hub ic is not suit for beloader

I'm experiencing the issue where the version number of the update is not... updating.

I read the thread where others have experienced the same. Only recommendation was to try another PC...
The text file for version number is definitely meant to change as an indication the update has executed successfully, yes?  

Was there ever a resolution for this?

FIxed.

I extracted the update to desktop (previously I was dragging it straight into beloader from the unzip app).
I also tried a different USB port (previously I had the laptop hooked up to a docking station and was using the docking stations extra USB ports. I instead used the laptop USB port).

Hey there

I have 2 Beloaders...one for WiFi, one for LAN.

WiFi works most of the time ;)

Now I made the setup for LAN, I followed all the steps...first I got the blue flashing light...then I got a green flashing light and at the end I got a green/red flashing light and then...nothing.

My Hub works for other people, so that's not the problem.

When I update the firmware, it does not go "fast"...it takes about 15 seconds...don't understand why
The update.bin for LAN is 652kb...the "old" one is 960kb. After updating it is still 960kb - the text file shows the new version

And: for some reasong psn config and Wifi Config shows up in the folder?

What do I have to do?



I solved the problem by myself. Nevermind.

AFTER SETTING UP THE BELOADER FOR LAN CONNECTION YOU HAVE TO DIRECTLY CONNECT IT TO THE PS5 TO CONFIRM REMOTE PLAY WITHING A FEW MINUTES !!!

After this it works fine all the while.

the lan update isn't working for me as well.I thought it might be a faulty beloader unit but the wifi update same to work just fine. I give up 4hrs of trying to get this thing to update is just madness. and before you ask I did use 2 computers to do this. smh

hi there what do ihave to change in psn file? i had it all working on shareplay via wifi but now i cant get it to work via lan cable, the only thing i have changed is the update.bin file on the beloader for the lsn firmware should i have also done something else??

@griff probably because you haven't successfully updated the beloader to the Lan update. Same problem some of us are having.
