Beloader+XIM+PS5JOYPAD with touchpad function

the beloader firmware is :  WIFI 20220216.1744
the XIM APEX firmware is  :   20210625 and 20211012 (both test well)

I have just tried this method and I can confirm that this does not work! Once I have inserted Beloader w/ Xim Apex to the PS5 and waited until it gets connected with a steady green light. The touchpad of the PS5 no longer works properly, when I press the touchpad of the PS5, it goes to the share menu. Maybe this only works for Asia PS5 models, but not USA models is my guess.

According to a mod at Xim forums, Beloader does NOT support touchpads

So your test is false and misleading people unless you can prove that it is actually working, the video you have uploaded at mediafire isn't a good enough proof that the touchpad actually works.

I have tried all of the beloader firmwares with no success

we confirm 100% touchpad work correctly, but we not know why your side has problem.  It is difficult for us to fix it because we can't repeart your erro.

I just received the new Beloader today and have tried it... And it still has the same issues! Still no touchpad functionality! I think the Xim community is right, Beloader has no touchpad support at all. I'm not sure how you guys made the touchpad to work on that video, but it is clearly not working for everybody. So that is something you guys should look at to get it fixed. I give up on Beloader and I will now look for an alternative to make Xim work on PS5. I heard about a good working alternative from the Xim community and I will give that one a try, meanwhile my Beloader will be sitting in the dust until you guys fix this problem.

Hey Beloader team, I'd like to let you guys know that I have figured out what the touchpad problem was that I had with Beloader. My problem was that I was using a PS4 v1 controller and that doesn't seem to work with Beloader. Od1n from Xim forums helped me figure this out. The reason why I was using my PS4 controller with Beloader is because Xim doesn't recognize my PS5 controller when I am not using Beloader. I'd like to have the flexibility to use my Xim without Beloader sometimes, so for this reason I wanted to kept using my PS4 controller, I did not know that my PS4 controller is a v1 and I did not know that is what is causing the touchpad problem issues. So for future reference, Beloader only supports PS4 v2 controller and PS5 Dual Sense controller. The PS5 can run v1 ps4 controllers in bluetooth mode only which seems to be the cause of these touchpad issues with Beloader. Please inform Beloader customers about this compatibility issue because it is very important. Let them know that if they use a Ps4 controller with Beloader it must be a v2.

The quickest way to find out if you have a v1 or v2 Ps4 controller is to check the Model# in the back of the controller. The "CUH-ZCT1" series is v1 while the "CUH-ZCT2" series is v2.

Yes I do have a ps5 joypad, i explained why I use ps4 joypad still in my previous post
