Ps5 Back Attachment

Hello,
I recently ordered a back component for my ps5 controller that provides 4 additional buttons on the back. I mapped the keys, however, after a couple of minute my ps5 controller with the attachment stops working. I am wanting to know why this happens and if there is any solutions to it. Please let me know, thank you.

anyway to bypass it at all? Also how do you download the updates for it? it says to come to this website but cant find anything here.
