Which setup do you have connected to p5mate?

The P5 mate is connected to 1 usb port on the PS5. The usb c port of the mate is connected to an recommended adapter and plugged in into a power socket. Finally, the mate is connected to my Xim Matrix.

From my Xim Matrix, there’s a cable that goes into my Cronus Zen (left usb a port, next to the usb c). And my controller is connected to the left port of the Zen.

It all worked for many months without a problem. Bluetooth is off and everything worked like a charm. However, since the update it seems.., the Xim starts blinking randomly and a white light appears on the device. When this happens, there’s nothing I can do in-game. Something unplugging the Xim and reconnecting works, but not every time. The success rate is like 15%.

Not sure what is causing this issue, but I did lot have this before the update.

Edge, yes. But that did not make any difference before. My dualsense and Edge were working correctly.

Do you have a dualshock by any chance?

My setup is ps5 > p5mate > xim apex > mouse, keyboard and controller.

I was using a dualsense but I was having random disconnections every 2 or 3 hours.

I've tried everything (chargers on p5mate and xim apex, new cables, etc.) but every time to time a random disconnections happens.

So I've decided to change my dualsense for a dualshock just to test it and it's been a month without any disconnection, and no need for an extra power supply.

If you have a dualshock, try to test it out if you still having disconnections

Well, I have one but I’m not going to use one. It needs to work with the original PS5 controller like intended. I just need to know what could be causing these random disconnects. Since I’m not the only one with these problems, I wonder if they could make a new firmware update for the mate. I really want to know what is going on. Even when developers here say that everything should be working as intended.

Hey guys this is what I have noticed with the PS5 slim verison.

I have my astro mix amp connected to my ps5 and had my P5mate connected, when I powered on my PS5.

Well I noticed that everything started up fine other then the P5mate. I would get the blue light on the PS5mate, it always happened. I tried trouble shooting the issues with different cables, usb hub, nothing worked.

Well what I have noticed what the PS5 does at start up, it checks what is connected to its usb or usb-c ports, just like a desktop or laptop does. My astro mixamp is recognized as a audio device I would assume because I have no issues with it, at start up.

So what I do now is disconnect the PS5mate, start up the PS5, wait about 1 minute or 2 and then connect my PS5mate with my Titan 2 and DS controller.

I have no issues doing like this.

With that said, would not know if a FW update to the P5mate would fix these issues since this is more on the PS5 side, in my opinion this is a power issue on the PS5 checking what is connected at startup, who knows I am no engineer, just my opinion on this matter.

To connect my P5mate I use a usb to usb-c connecter that came with my samsung phone, usb cable from the samsung connector to P5mate and then my T2.

I do not know if this would work with the XIM, I do not use that device, but for me this works everytime.

I hope this helps some people.

Also to the Beloader team, have you guys abandoned this project?? Just have not seen no one here on the forums from your team answering any questions people have.
