LEARNING function is not working for Paddles

Hi,

I have a Besavior (PS5 controller purchased here) with the most latest and stable firmware.

I have tried numerous times to set a macro on the paddle via the LEARNING function but it does not work. It works with any other keys on the controller but not the paddles.

You can reproduce it by simply creating a macro via LEARNING (i.e. Jump 3 times in a row) - it will work for a regular button on the controller but it will not work for a paddles (i.e. P1).
MAPPING works on a paddle but not LEARNING.
Is this expected? it should not as this is seriously limiting the purpose of the paddles if I can't bind a macro to a particular paddle.

Any help appreciated.

Could anyone please try LEARNING (with some keys combo) on the back paddles? It is not working for me.
